TAG employees who opted to be a part of the startup worked after hours as contractors to develop, brand, and market the software in exchange for payouts from the profits and future profit sharing in Textify. “We wanted to challenge our team to build something innovative while creating an opportunity for them to become entrepreneurs and reap the rewards of a starting company,” said Amorim. With a team of marketers and developers in house, TAG decided: why not build their own.
